Exploring CPH. July 2017.

We moved to Østerbro, a district just north of City Central (Indre By.) We live in the southern part, conveniently enough, right beside Østerport Station and the U.S. Embassy (and Russian.) It’s a lovely part of Copenhagen. It is a family friendly area, with parks everywhere, shopping. It’s close to the kids school and a short walk to downtown Copenhagen.

The obligatory and infamous (in my opinion totally underwhelming) Little Mermaid statue is a few blocks away.

But just around the corner is….

The much cooler and more impressive Gefion Fountain. One of my favorites.

Loving the Danish hydrangeas. Reminds me of home.

IMG_0153Nyhavn is the image you would find if you googled Copenhagen. It has the colorful buildings and is on the harbor. Very picturesque. We are about a 20 minute walk from here.
